Ghostbusters: Afterlife - Polaroid Ecto-Goggles

After my first week in the Ghostbusters art department, production designer Francois Auduoy gave me a list of several props I could take a stab at. At the very bottom were the classic Ecto-Goggles. Something about sitting in the art department and hearing Jason Reitman talk about 80s tech made me think of polaroid cameras. I painted this up as a proof of concept and he liked it so much he wrote it into the movie. Getting the thumbs up from Jason AND Ivan Reitman is one of the coolest things that’s ever happened to me.
